Vagator Beach a.k.a Rocky Beach

Goa reminds everyone of one thing and that is the beaches...so here's the real deal...

The most scenic place in Goa

Guess what I found?!?

Yesterday as I was exploring the PC , guess what I found??
Yes, more pictures from the Goa trip.
So today I'll continue with Fort Aguada...

The Light House

One of my Favorites!

Gone with the wind...

The Fort Aguada

This fort was constructed in 1613 to guard against the Dutch and the Marathas. It was a reference point for the vessels coming from Europe at that time. This old Portuguese fort stands on the beach south of Candolim, at the shore of the Mandovi River.

Here's what it looks like...

The lower part of the fort

The ultimate view

Our way back!

Gives this post a very historic feel :P

Here I am again!
Our next stop after the Aquarium was the Aguada Fort.
The fort lies on the shore of Mandovi river.

This is what we saw on the way...

Mosquarium ( The Mosque and The Aquarium )

Ok so if you remember I said I'd be spicing up my blog...and here I'am!
Well, in a state where 27% population is Christian , it was a bit of surpise for me to actually spot a mosque but then it was once ruled by Adil Shah of Bijapur so that explains it .
The picture below is of Jama Masjid.

Also there's this amazing Aquarium we visited.

Spicing it up!

Ever been in a situation where you want to do so many things and you've got the ability and the resources but still can't do it ?
Well,I've lived in it forever.
Your time is never really yours some of it belongs to your family, to your studies so on...and then there's that tiny little voice in your head screaming to be let out , that self of yours that doesn't fit in the schedule !
Ah...too philosophical!
Anyway the good news is exams are finally over and I've got the "me" time I've been craving for.
All I do the whole day is sit, read, eat, watch videos and sleep...and it feels so good.
I've also taken up some new hobbies and one of them is learning Urdu.
The language is quite realted to Persian and Arabic only that it has some traces of Hindi in it , or so my mum also my mentor in this new hobby of mine tells me so and while my friends keep cribing about how bored they are I'm enjoying this vacation to the fullest.
So here's where I'll stop , Insha allah  I'll try to bring on some spice to the blog which also means I'll be writing often.
So buh-bye till then...miss me! :)

Just my thing!

Felt like two months these two days. That's what happens when you have the college fest going on. The monotonous schedule gets spiced up and the usual me who gets irritated whenever someone gives an off lecture suddenly wishes for more of them.
There's a spontaneity in the air and me loves it!!
Well, Yes TechnoInnova happened!
And I couldn't help but participate as much as I can...and guess what?? Now I InshaAllah am going to have a huge collection of certificates. Isn't that amazing?
And there's more, as the National Holiday on 26th Jan was preceded by one more holiday  I could finally go for a proper vacation with my family...and Konkan is the place we all LOVE!
So visited a place called Kihim , not much crowd , no huge ugly buildings and no traffic...can anything be more pleasant than this?
So here are some pictures from the place...

The way water hits the rocks , enchanting!

With the waves...
Indeed Allah is the best of the creators!
Sunset...need I say more?
Couldn't be writing this post were Allah not so graceful with me.
And now it's time to get serious , exams coming up in 10 days and must start studying!
Till then , cheerio! :)

An Escape To Heaven

You know that feeling you get , like you're trapped and becoming stagnant?
That's what I feel if I don't travel...and hence this Saturday we (My family) headed out for a village near Pune.
It's pleasing to see the farms, non-concrete roads , Water Wells and no buildings. For a while it felt like a set of some movie. Houses made of bricks can't be real and hardly any vehicles...that's not even possible.
A few cement bunglows here and there and that's all.
